My aunt has been having problems walking for the last few months. She fell earlier last yr--in the spring. About 2 weeks ago, she was at church, and the bone--femur--had been cracked all this time, and finally just finished breaking. Her leg just collasped. She couldn't stand. The doctors (morons) had thought her walking problem was due to her meds, and had been playing with them. They never even x-rayed her leg. Her family took her to the ER, where they x-rayed her, and found out about the broken bone. They found calcium deposits where the bone had been trying to heal indicating that she'd cracked it some time ago. She's 75 you morons. When old people fall, they do break bones easier than young people. Then, when she starts feeling better and is walking around with a walker last Friday, she starts physical therapy. GRRRRRRRRRR. This woman pulled and yanked so much and hard on my aunt that she's been in enormous pain ever since and she's back in a wheelchair. She can't walk or stand. Her family took her back to the doctor, they x-rayed her again, and thank goodness, the leg is not re-broken. At least *that woman* (venom) didn't re-break her leg.

Well, in Kingdom Hearts I defeated Leon and Yuffie in the Pegasus Cup. Yuffie was hard, the way she kept flipping away and healing. Leon wasn't that hard, I didn't think. Just keep healing and attacking and not letting up when you attack him. It took me three tries cause of Yuffie, but I got them. I finished Atlantica--boy, those boss fights with Ursula were boring. In the first one, she twirls around and is hard to see because of KH's sucky camera. In the second one, she's stationary and it's just boring and tedious. Even more than the boss fight with Jafar in Agrabah. I can't find Halloween Town, it won't open for me to play. But the world after, Neverland with Captain Hook did. I don't get it-- I don't understand why Neverland opened up and Halloween Town didn't. I really wanted to play Halloween Town last night and you're supposed to play it before Neverland. I'm up to the boss fight with Hook. It's so agravating. I manage to get him down to just a few blows to kill him and he kills me!! GRRRRRR! Twice!!! Third time will be successful.

What's up with lighting in this game? It's way too dark even when you are playing in the dark some areas you can barely see in to move. When I tried to play it yesterday morning with some mild glare on the tv from the sun, I could just barely make out Sora, Donald, and Goofy. I couldn't tell where they were walking or anything. It was irritating. I was at the Magician's House, outside, and kept falling in to the lake around his house. I could just barely even see the house!

What's up the camera angles in this game?! This is the worst camera I think I've played with. At times, I can't even get it to focus on where I'm supposed to jump next in some areas, so I keep missing it and repeating it. That's so maddening. It's not even my fault I missed the jump, it's the camera's since I can't see where I'm supposed to jump to! And it makes fighting battles hard. It doesn't keep the enemy in view unless you take time to rotate the camera, and while doing this, you get attacked, and die! What's up with always having to rotate it yourself to see where you are going? I really hope the lighting and camera problems are fixed for Kingdom Hearts 2.

I really do love this game and I'm already planning on re-playing it when I finish it. The bad thing is that KH makes me want to see the other Final Fantasy games, especially FF7 & 8, redone to PS2 standards. Cloud, Leon, and all the others look so, well, nice, realistic, in this game. Seeing the FF characters in the game is my fave part of the game, I think, although playing through the Disney worlds is fun. I wish our version of the game contained the added footage that the Japanese KH Internation does. I'd love to play/see the Sephiroth/Cloud fight.

I finally bought Wish vol 3 last night. I love Clamp. I love Wish. My fave character is Koryou (sp), the young devil. He's so funny. I can't wait til vol 4 is out. I can't believe Tokyopop has almost all of Clamp's works. They'd better translate everything. I'm very happy with the way they are translating Wish. I wish they did the same nice, through job on all of their manga titles.

I was very angry when I learned they were going to not translate sound effects any more in their "100% authentic manga", which they need to work on anyway. In Dragon Knights, for example, they've spelled Thatz both with the z and Thats with an s. Consistency, people. Pick one spelling and stick with it. They've left empty dialogue boxes, and have misspelled words, and wrong words used. I've seen instances of I being used when it was obviously meant to be we used and other stuff. Sigh. Yes, I'm a bit of a grammar nazi when it comes to reading stuff that I have to pay for. I hold published stuff to a higher standard. I find the untranslated sound effects especially irritating in Dragon Knights, with all the fights.

I was reading several lines of their books, and planning on more, but now....I'll finish the series I'm most interested in, and I'll probably pick up Clamp's stuff, but that's it. Although, I may have to try Fake and Gravitation. Maybe if they are successful, then other companies will pick up other shonen ai series. For the most part though, I'm spending my money on other titles by other companies.
