Kingdom Hearts is going. Grrrr. It's so frustrating trying to get the dalmation chest behind the Magician's House. I can't get a camera angle on it, much less a decent one that lets me know where to jump. It's pray, jump, *splash* into the water, back to the the freakin' movin' platforms that you can barely see to jump onto so you go *splash* again. ARGH! I've probably spent a combined 2 1/2 hours trying to get this chest. I need it for the secret ending. Oh, well, if at first you don't succeed, try and try and try again.

I want a new Buffy episode! It's been weeks! It's so aggravating. Heck last week wasn't even a repeat! It was pre-empted by some basketball game! And what's up with showing shows are the Superbowl! I missed a pivotal Alias b/c they showed it after the Superbowl, which I don't watch! Grrr.

The bathroom in my house is all together now. The plumbing isn't leaking. My appliances (stove, fridge, microwave, washer, dryer) will be delivered and installed on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003. YES! My house is getting livable! All right! Whohoo! Now, I've just got to pay for them. Ouch. About $2200 + tax. Ouchie. I'll need to buy a sofa, but otherwise for now, I think it's covered. I've a dining table mom bought me, chairs for table given to me by an aunt, some chairs mom will give me until I can afford to buy some, my bed (although I would like to buy a bedroom suite), furniture that I can use until I can afford to buy some.

Need to call my bank to make sure everything account wise is correct. I won the battle to get my $43.09 from Payflex. Payflex=medical savings account. Wonderful. No one is answering the phone at the bank. Grrrr. Damnit! I need to make sure my automatic salary deposit went through since they changed the routing numbers on me! Not to mention the Payflex deposit. Whew! Payflex and Salary went through! wipes brow. Forget to ask for account balance. sheepish look. Not calling back right now. Will later.

Lil Sis got spayed. Thank goodness she wasn't pregnant. She was very miserable afterward. She meowed ow at me. It sounded she said ow. Broke my heart. Hard to explain to her why she's hurting so. She's doing better now. Been romping and raring outside.

Is it just me or is Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts part 1 kinda confusing? That maze stuff with the gates. And what's up with the "temporary" ownership of the Keyblade by Sora?! Argh! How not fair to Sora. And then to give him a wooden sword! Grrrr! How awful. I felt terrible for him.

My bathroom on my house is done! YES! And I now have carpet, Dubloon color, Barrier Reef style, in my bedrooms! Paid for! And I ordered my appliances, my fridge wasn't in stock, so they'll come in some time this week. Exciting. Then, of course, I'll have to pay for them. Yech. Money's getting low. And here I am contemplating buying a second memory card for my PS2 since I'm now out of room on my one and only one due to playing KH. I don't want to save over KH files that I have right now.

I'm currently websearching for Fastlane pics from the lesbian episode, the one where Billy kisses the other girl. The other girl has a hairstyle that I like and that I'm really considering getting. I didn't tape the episode and I'm having trouble finding pics of the hairstyle. Most involve the kiss, which I don't really want to explain to my hairdresser, who is my mom, yes she's a professional cosmetologist. She'd probably think it was a "lesbian hairstyle". She has before with other hairtyles--too short or too boyish looking for women. Have to soften it otherwise people will think you're lesbian is her opinion. Yeah, right, mom.

I'm having to cut my hair somewhat even if I don't get the hairstyle I'm considering. I'm losing so much hair and I don't know why. I'm actually using hair loss products to try to stop it. My ends are looking awful due to the hair loss. I'll trim it by a couple of inches even if I don't get it "cut". I'm hoping it's just stress and that as soon as I get the house finished, it'll stop falling out so. If not, doctor here I come.

I finally found the green door in Kingdom Hearts in Halloween Town! Fought Oogie Boogie. The first fight was kinda confusing at first. Kinda boring too once you got the hang of it. The second fight was fairly easy. I have one more torn page to find and complete for the 100 Wood Acres book. The Pooh stuff is cute.

At work, S. was pissed that Sarah had called in sick for Monday and Tuesday. Sarah had taken her car into to be fixed on Friday. S. talked to Sarah on Saturday and it was still being fixed. So S. is mad that she had to cover for Sarah on Mon and Tues since Sarah called in "sick". S. thinks Sarah wasn't sick. S. thinks Sarah didn't have her car back yet. Sarah wasn't terribly convincing she was sick this weekend when I asked if she was feeling better. She'd been very "exhausted". Yeah, right. Okay, if you say so.

I found the website ActsofGord while I was surfing around last Friday. One word: hysterical. It's so hilarious. ROFLMAO funny. I think you have to have worked in a customer service/retail background to find it so funny. I've worked in customer service oriented jobs for all of my jobs. I encounter idiots like that all the time--I just can't do anything about it since my employer wouldn't like that. Customer is everything you know. Yeah, right. NOT. Some people have been hit with the stupid stick too many times.

I've finally got to Halloween Town! Yah! does dance of joy. It's a wonderfully atmospheric world. I love Halloween; it's my fave holiday. Sora looks so sexy in his costume. drool. Now, if only I could find the green door that leads to the Oogie Boogie boss fight, I'd be a happy camper. Last time I was this frustrated looking for a location, it was in Deep Jungle, and I'd fallen off the cliff leading to Tarzan's Home, and needed to get back up. Grrrr. I've already spent an hour or so looking for the @#$% green door. Very, very frustrating.

Currently reading: Midnight Bayou by Nora Roberts. So far I'm really liking it. It seems to a romance/re-incarnation/mystery plot set in New Orleans, Louisiana. wistful look. Mom took there for my 18th b-day when it was still legal to drink alcohol in LA at age 18. Fun. I'd love to go back there. I'd really love to go to Mardi Gras. Next year. Can't do it this year. Too much other stuff going on.

I've finished battling Captain Hook in Neverland. Successful on the third try. He kept killing me just when I was about to kill him on the other two tries. Very aggravating considering you all cut scene watching and re-battling you have to do to fight Hook again.

I'm now in Halloween Town. Yes, I know, I'm supposed to do HT before Neverland, but it wouldn't open up for me. Neverland did. Very strange. And the gummi ship crap is making me nuts. I don't care about the gummi ship. Anyway, I can't find the green door to fight Oogie Boogie. It's making me nuts. I've probably wasted close to an hour looking for it so far. Any suggestions on where it is? Anyone? Grrr.

My bathroom in my house is coming together. Cold water is hooked up, hot water needs work. Toliet is down, but needs new valve; it's leaking water out the top of the valve. My sink is in. My hardware is up. Need mirror.

It's time to go renew my useless manicurist license. I'm licensed, but I don't use it. Mom insisted I get one. Have to get TB Tine test to renew it. Stupid state board won't accept the shot version of the test. Not to mention pay 60 bucks for the useless thing. And it's time to get my car inspected/oil changed/new windshield wipers. Sigh. Bills aren't they fun? NOT.

My aunt has been having problems walking for the last few months. She fell earlier last yr--in the spring. About 2 weeks ago, she was at church, and the bone--femur--had been cracked all this time, and finally just finished breaking. Her leg just collasped. She couldn't stand. The doctors (morons) had thought her walking problem was due to her meds, and had been playing with them. They never even x-rayed her leg. Her family took her to the ER, where they x-rayed her, and found out about the broken bone. They found calcium deposits where the bone had been trying to heal indicating that she'd cracked it some time ago. She's 75 you morons. When old people fall, they do break bones easier than young people. Then, when she starts feeling better and is walking around with a walker last Friday, she starts physical therapy. GRRRRRRRRRR. This woman pulled and yanked so much and hard on my aunt that she's been in enormous pain ever since and she's back in a wheelchair. She can't walk or stand. Her family took her back to the doctor, they x-rayed her again, and thank goodness, the leg is not re-broken. At least *that woman* (venom) didn't re-break her leg.

Well, in Kingdom Hearts I defeated Leon and Yuffie in the Pegasus Cup. Yuffie was hard, the way she kept flipping away and healing. Leon wasn't that hard, I didn't think. Just keep healing and attacking and not letting up when you attack him. It took me three tries cause of Yuffie, but I got them. I finished Atlantica--boy, those boss fights with Ursula were boring. In the first one, she twirls around and is hard to see because of KH's sucky camera. In the second one, she's stationary and it's just boring and tedious. Even more than the boss fight with Jafar in Agrabah. I can't find Halloween Town, it won't open for me to play. But the world after, Neverland with Captain Hook did. I don't get it-- I don't understand why Neverland opened up and Halloween Town didn't. I really wanted to play Halloween Town last night and you're supposed to play it before Neverland. I'm up to the boss fight with Hook. It's so agravating. I manage to get him down to just a few blows to kill him and he kills me!! GRRRRRR! Twice!!! Third time will be successful.

What's up with lighting in this game? It's way too dark even when you are playing in the dark some areas you can barely see in to move. When I tried to play it yesterday morning with some mild glare on the tv from the sun, I could just barely make out Sora, Donald, and Goofy. I couldn't tell where they were walking or anything. It was irritating. I was at the Magician's House, outside, and kept falling in to the lake around his house. I could just barely even see the house!

What's up the camera angles in this game?! This is the worst camera I think I've played with. At times, I can't even get it to focus on where I'm supposed to jump next in some areas, so I keep missing it and repeating it. That's so maddening. It's not even my fault I missed the jump, it's the camera's since I can't see where I'm supposed to jump to! And it makes fighting battles hard. It doesn't keep the enemy in view unless you take time to rotate the camera, and while doing this, you get attacked, and die! What's up with always having to rotate it yourself to see where you are going? I really hope the lighting and camera problems are fixed for Kingdom Hearts 2.

I really do love this game and I'm already planning on re-playing it when I finish it. The bad thing is that KH makes me want to see the other Final Fantasy games, especially FF7 & 8, redone to PS2 standards. Cloud, Leon, and all the others look so, well, nice, realistic, in this game. Seeing the FF characters in the game is my fave part of the game, I think, although playing through the Disney worlds is fun. I wish our version of the game contained the added footage that the Japanese KH Internation does. I'd love to play/see the Sephiroth/Cloud fight.

I finally bought Wish vol 3 last night. I love Clamp. I love Wish. My fave character is Koryou (sp), the young devil. He's so funny. I can't wait til vol 4 is out. I can't believe Tokyopop has almost all of Clamp's works. They'd better translate everything. I'm very happy with the way they are translating Wish. I wish they did the same nice, through job on all of their manga titles.

I was very angry when I learned they were going to not translate sound effects any more in their "100% authentic manga", which they need to work on anyway. In Dragon Knights, for example, they've spelled Thatz both with the z and Thats with an s. Consistency, people. Pick one spelling and stick with it. They've left empty dialogue boxes, and have misspelled words, and wrong words used. I've seen instances of I being used when it was obviously meant to be we used and other stuff. Sigh. Yes, I'm a bit of a grammar nazi when it comes to reading stuff that I have to pay for. I hold published stuff to a higher standard. I find the untranslated sound effects especially irritating in Dragon Knights, with all the fights.

I was reading several lines of their books, and planning on more, but now....I'll finish the series I'm most interested in, and I'll probably pick up Clamp's stuff, but that's it. Although, I may have to try Fake and Gravitation. Maybe if they are successful, then other companies will pick up other shonen ai series. For the most part though, I'm spending my money on other titles by other companies.

It's so aggravating to get 10 hours into a videogame and then not be able to get any further b/c you've lost your freakin' weapon! Vagrant Story, grrr. I was loving the game until then. The only thing I can think of is that I accidently discarded my sword, my beautiful, powerful sword, sob, and now I'm stuck. I have my crossbow, but I can't kick butt with the bow. I'm going to have to start over from the start! Why, oh why, did I save the game in one save file! Dumb is all I can say. Won't make that mistake again.

My mom gave me Kingdom Hearts for Christmas. That game rocks! I love it so far. I'm trying to defeat Leon and Yuffie in the Pegasus Cup at the Olympic Coliseum right now. They've already killed me once. I'll get them though. I think I've figured it out.
